One-on-One Computer Help resumes in June!
Reserve your 30-minute appointment at the Circulation Desk. You will be asked to fill out a brief form describing your problem. Please bring the device in question to your appointment. All appointments are on Tuesdays.
Summer Computer Class Series
Become a more savvy computer user with this series of free computer classes. All classes will take place in the Library’s Computer Lab on Tuesdays from 12:30 – 2 PM. Registration is required. Sign-ups begin May 21st at the Circulation Desk or call the Library at 302-645-2733.
June 12: Understanding Computer Features
This first class will cover basic computer programs and features such as browsers, file explorer, photo gallery, and more.
June 26: Understanding Google & It’s Tools
This class will explore the helpful tools available from Google, including Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Calendar.
July 10: Microsoft Office
This class will serve as an introduction to three Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
July 17: Basic Troubleshooting
This class will provide steps for solving common computer problems that the average user may encounter from time to time.
Basic Computer Classes
2nd Wednesday of every month, 1:30 – 3:30 PM
This class is for anyone who does not currently have computer experience and will teach how to:
- use the mouse to move around documents and on the internet
- use Google (and other search engines) to search the internet
- use email (provided you make the instructor aware extra time is needed when you sign up for class).
