Great Decisions 2018 Series

The Library is hosting a Great Decisions 2018 Discussion Series this Spring on Thursdays from March 29 through May 17 at 6:00 PM.

The Foreign Policy Association’s Great Decisions is America’s largest discussion program on world affairs. Groups throughout the U. S. read the Great Decisions Briefing Book, watch the DVD, and meet to discuss the most critical global issues facing America today. Dates and topics for this series are:

March 29 – The waning of Pax Americana?
April 5 – Russia’s Foreign Policy
April 12 – China and America: the New Geopolitical Equation
April 19 – Media and Foreign Policy
April 26 – Turkey: a Partner in Crisis
May 3 – U.S. Global Engagement and the Military
May 10 – Global Health: Progress and Challenges
May 17 – South Africa’s Fragile Democracy
