Did you know that one blood donation can save up to three lives?
Whether you’re a regular donor or a first-time participant, we invite you to join us for a Blood Drive with Blood Bank of Delmarva. The blood donation process from check-in to screening to finish takes only 45-60 minutes — and makes an incredible impact for our community!
Refreshments provided by Blood Bank of Delmarva, and the library will have books and puzzles as thank-you gifts to donors.
Most people qualify to donate blood, even if they are taking medications. Donors should be:
- In good health
- 17 years or older (16 with a parent/guardian’s written consent)
- Symptom-free for at least 72 hours following cold or flu
