Shop Hours
- Monday – Friday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Saturday from 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- If the Library is closed in observance of a holiday or due to a weather contingency, then the Shop is closed.
Customers may pay the Shop Cashier during the Shop Hours or at the Circulation Desk when the Shop is closed.

History & Biography Book Sale
Friday, September 18 | 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Saturday, September 19 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
The Friends of the Lewes Public Library are hosting a History, Biography, and Collectible book sale featuring more than 3,500 books on history and politics, as well as a wide selection of biographies. Some rare and collectible books dating back to the mid-1800s will also be available for purchase. Prices start at just $4, with proceeds benefiting the library.
More informationNote: All book sales are free and open to the public. Proceeds of the book sales benefit the Friends, a separate 501(c)(3) affiliate of contributing members who support the Lewes Public Library. Proceeds are used for book and media purchases, library programming, special projects, and other Library needs.
