Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots

is a global youth program founded by Dr. Jane Goodall that empowers young people to make a difference for animals, people, and the environment. We’re proud to be an official chapter here at Lewes Public Library!

Teens ages 13–19 can join us to lead and participate in community service projects that create real, positive change. Whether it’s helping local wildlife, supporting people in need, or improving our environment, there are countless ways to get involved.

Participants will earn service hours, gain valuable leadership experience, and play a key role in shaping meaningful projects within the library and the community. Join us and make an impact!

Meetings take place every month on the 3rd Thursday at 6:00 PM.

Registration is required.
