WHAT IS LOOPIN’?
Loopin’ for the Library is a self-paced bike ride to support the library.
Exercise is beneficial for your physical AND mental well-being. Loopin’ is an opportunity to work out for yourself and for a good cause!
Between June 1 – 30, 2023 ride a total of 20 miles. You can ride 20 miles all at once or break it down into smaller rides that total 20 miles. You can ride indoors on a stationary bike, or you can ride outdoors. You can ride by yourself or ride with others, including as a team. You don’t need to report to us when you complete your 20 miles. We trust you!
Ride registration is open now through June 30, 2023.
- Adults (18+) $30
- Teens (13 – 17) $10
- Kids (12 and under) ride for free
RAFFLE
Lewes Cycle Sports has generously donated a Trek Verve 2 bike for us to raffle (valued at $800). Every paid registration gets one entry into the raffle. For every additional 20 miles you ride, you get another free entry into the raffle (up to 400 miles total).
Raffle Tickets are on sale through June 30 at:
- Lewes Public Library
- at the Circulation Desk during business hours (Monday – Thursday 10 AM – 8 PM, Friday 10 AM – 5 PM, and Saturday 10 AM – 2 PM) – credit card, cash, or check payable to the library
- By phone: call the library at 302-645-2733 during business hours – credit card sales only
- By mail and email: download an order form. Fill it out and send in with payment – we will mail your ticket stubs to you! (Deadline to receive the form with payment is 5:00 PM ET on June 30, 2023)
- Lewes Cycle Sports (cash or check only; no credit card sales)
Raffle ticket prices:
- 1 ticket for $10
- 3 tickets for $25
- 7 tickets for $50
- 20 tickets for $100
The winner will be drawn on July 1, 2023.
