Pints & Pages: A Book Club for Millennials

4rd Tuesday of the Month | 6:30 PM | In-person
A monthly book discussion group sponsored by Dewey Beer Co. New, seasonal brews will be sampled at discussion. Copies of the books are available to borrow at the Circulation Desk.
Book selections will be made for the rest of the 2023 year at the first discussion.

Power Yoga with Grounded ROOTS

Grounded ROOTS will host free hot/power yoga on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month all summer long. This power/vinyasa hot yoga is for all experience levels. Bring your yoga mat, towel, and water bottle, and plan to get sweaty. Temperatures range between 80 and 90 degrees.
“Hot yoga is a form of yoga as the exercise performed under hot and humid conditions, resulting in considerable sweating. Some hot yoga practices seek to replicate the heat and humidity of India, where yoga originated. Bikram Choudhury has suggested that the heated environment of Bikram Yoga helps to prepare the body for movement and to “remove impurities”.
